(VOVworld) – A detained group of Russian citizens suspected of plotting a terrorist attack in Moscow were trained at Islamic State (IS) camps in Syria, Russia’s Federal Security Service said on Monday.

Some of them arrived in Russia long before the start of the Russian military operation against IS in Syria.
Russia’s National Anti-terrorism Committee said a group of terror suspects had been detained for plotting a terrorist attack on Moscow's public transport system. During the raid on the suspects’ apartment, officers seized and deactivated a homemade explosive device containing, with a yield of about 5 kilograms of explosive.
