Albanians Sunday voted on 140 seats of the new parliament. This historic election including 3,2 million domestic and overseas voters, is considered as a tight race between 2 major politicians in Albania, the conservative Democrat Party of Prime Minister Sali Berisha and of the Socialist Party of former mayor of Tirana city, Edi Rama. The result of the vote is expected to be released by Monday. Albania, the poorest country in Europe, is facing an opportunity to join the European Union in the near future.
