Around 600 people have been wounded, including women and children. Hamas and other Palestinian militias retaliated by firing rockets into Israel Thursday night.
Since Monday, more than 1,700 rockets have been fired at Israeli towns. An Israeli military spokesperson said it has conducted airstrikes on 750 locations in the Gaza Strip.
