The Vietnamese women's team won 5-1 and 2-0 against host Nepal to secure a top position of Group C and are through to the next round.

Other teams qualified to the second round are Uzbekistan (first in group A), Iran (first in group B), Thailand (first in group D), Philippines (first in group E), Chinese Taipei (first in group F), and India (first in group G).

These seven teams will play teams from North Korea, Japan, Australia, China, and South Korea. The second round draw will take place on May 18 at AFC headquarters in Malaysia.
