(VOVworld) – Deputy Health Minister Nguyen Viet Tien on Tuesday visited and presented gifts to seriously wounded soldiers in the War Invalids Nursing Center in the northern province of Bac Ninh. Tien extended his gratitude to their sacrifices and urged the center to work with Military Central Hospital 108 and Military Hospital 103 to provide the invalids with the best treatment.

The Mekong delta province of Hau Giang presented gifts to 30,000 policy benefactors.

In the southern province of Binh Phuoc, authorities presented gifts to 50 outstanding policy beneficiary families and provided free health check-ups and medicine for 200 families of revolutionary contributors.

5,000 social beneficiaries in Hanoi also received free medical check-ups.

The National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism on the outskirts of Hanoi will host a requiem on Sunday morning to honor the fallen soldiers.
