At a meeting in Hanoi on Tuesday with national contributors from Nghe An and Dak Lak province, Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Thi Ha said that a ceremony in Hanoi to celebrate the occasion and a meeting with 450 outstanding revolutionary veterans and national contributors will be organised.

Ceremonies will also be held to raise donations for the Central Gratitude Fund and award certificates of recognition to the families of martyrs in Nghe An province.

According to Ha, giving preferential treatment to revolutionary contributors is the policy of the Party and State to show its gratitude to them and honor them.

The Ministry has coordinated with other ministries, sectors and localities to increase allowances for policy beneficiaries and their nurses and caretakers, prioritize resources for construction and embellishment of memorials honoring martyrs, and expand the search, retrieval, and identification of the remains of martyrs.
