(VOVworld) – The
northern port city of Hai Phong on Tuesday announced
winners of a drawing competition featuring Vietnam’s sea and islands and
marine soldiers. The competition promotes the artistic efforts of the city’s
children and inspires their love for their homeland. 250 entries were selected
from 1,000 pictures drawn by 700 children for an exhibition.
On Tuesday the
northern mountain province of Dien Bien hosted an art program to introduce Vietnam’s maritime sovereignty and encourage a
sense of responsibility for defending Vietnam’s territory.
