Thousands of young men excitedly said goodbye to their friends and relatives to join the army. Many of them have written petitions to the army  to serve permanently. One new recruit said:"My wish is to join the army to protect our country. I did not hesitate to write a petition to join the army."According to officers from recruiting receiving units, all the recruits met enlistment standards of health and education level, which is higher than last year.
