(VOVworld) – So far 8 Chinese contractors with 100 technicians have returned to the Vung Ang economic zone, Ha Tinh province, since Chinese and Vietnamese workers rioted in May at a Formosa Company construction site. Vung Ang economic zone managers said on Thursday that 16,000 workers of 33 other contractors have resumed work. They have tightened security inside the zone. Ha Tinh provincial authorities will help Hung Nghiep Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Company call contractors back to work.
