(VOVworld) – 780 outstanding blood donors have been honored in Ho Chi Minh city at a ceremony to mark World Blood Donor Day, June 14th.
The event aims to honor voluntary blood donors who make great contributions to the blood donation drive. Mr. Phan Kim My was honored for donating blood 80 times. He is followed by Nguyen Huyen Tuan with 55 times. Many blood donation campaigns have been effectively implemented in Ho Chi Minh city. This year, the city expects to collect 230,000 blood units.
