Those honorees have instigated educational initiatives and have had their students win prizes at national and international competitions, or have worked in remote, poor areas. Ten of the teachers are ethnic minority.

The “Sharing with teachers” program was organized by the Vietnam Youth Federation in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training and the Thien Long Group Joint Stock Company. 400 teachers have been honored since the program was launch in 2005. 

President of the Vietnam Youth Federation Nguyen Ngoc Luong said: “We hope the program will motivate teachers to overcome difficulties during their teaching careers and produce generations of young Vietnamese who will help realize the goal of building a strong country.”
