(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Sunday attended a ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City to mark the 65th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s appeal for patriotic emulation. The movement has been widely carried out throughout the city, creating momentum for socio-economic and security achievements. Tran Thanh Hai, President of Ho Chi Minh City’s Federation of Labour, said: “The core success of the patriotic movement is that laborers are more aware of their work results and that private employers respect employees. This is a foundation for sustainable development amidst economic recession. This emphasizes the importance of the patriotic emulation movements, which are implemented creatively with identified targets”.

On this occasion, a live TV program was broadcast Saturday night, connecting Ho Chi Minh museum in Ho Chi Minh City and the Phu Dinh revolutionary base in Thai Nguyen province. The program highlighted major activities of the patriotic movements over the past 65 years.

A talk show in Hanoi was broadcast live on TV, featuring famous musical works about President Ho Chi Minh and the love of people for the great leader.
