At a recent celebration of the 40th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties in the Iranian capital city, Tehran, Vietnamese Ambassador Tran Trong Khanh said their traditional friendship has flourished on a par with the development of each country. Both nations have facilitated high-ranking visits, signed cooperation deals, and worked closely together at global forums. Khanh said he is optimistic about the sustainable and comprehensive development of Vietnam-Iran cooperation thanks to the strong will of their leaders and people.     

Iranian Minister of Trade, Industry and Mining Mohammadreza Nematzadeh highlighted significant progress in bilateral ties. He shared the view that Vietnam and Iran boast areas of high potential cooperation, especially in economics, trade, and investment.      

President Truong Tan Sang took this occasion to cable a congratulatory message to Iranian President Hassan Rowhani.
