(VOVworld)- Vietnamese and Chinese Defense Ministries held a 3^rd Vietnam-China Border Defense Friendship Seminar in Lang Son province on Monday. The seminar is part of the 3^rd Vietnam-China Border Defense Friendship Exchange. Minister of National Defense General Phung Quang Thanh and Chinese Minister of National Defense Senior Lieutenant General Chang Wanquan co-chaired the event. In his address, Vietnamese Deputy Defense Minister Nguyen Chi Vinh said: “The Vietnam-China border defense friendship exchange has become an important annual event for the two countries’ armies and people living along their borders. This event is particular to the two socialist countries that share the border line. I believe that this exchange will strengthen mutual political trust and create new momentum to deepen the Vietnamese-Chinese comprehensive strategic partnership and build the borderline as an area for peace, friendship, cooperation, development, stability and sustainability”.
