The recognition came from a program called “Shining Vietnamese Willpower”, which calls on society to support Vietnamese youth with disabilities. Nguyen Kim Quy, Deputy Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth League, said the program's message is simple: no matter who you are or what challenges you face, believe in yourself and the future.

"You are not alone, as the Vietnam Youth League is here to support you. Your efforts inspire society and encourage continued support from the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth League, and the Vietnam Association of Youth with Disabilities," Quy added.

The Organizing Committee organizes activities to help disabled youth start businesses, focusing on finding sustainable models that enable them to confidently integrate into the community.

“Shining Vietnamese Willpower” began in 2013 and has since honored 237 resilient young individuals with disabilities nationwide.
