The Association said at a review meeting in Da Nang city on Friday that the money has been used to build houses for the families of AO/Dioxin victims, provide gifts and scholarships for the victims' children, help them with capital, plant varieties, and livestock, and de-toxicate AO/Dioxin victims.

VAVA President Nguyen Van Rinh said that for the upcoming Lunar New Year, the VAVA plans to give 100,000 New Year gifts to AO victims and the poor nationwide.

“Despite COVID-19 impacts, people across the country, businesses, and benefactors have donated in cash and kind to AO victims and poor families affected by natural disasters, storms and floods to increase production and improve their lives. This Lunar New Year, the Association has plans to raise funds for disadvantaged families to have a happy holiday,” said Mr. Rinh.
