2019 inflation predicted at 2.73%

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam’s economy is forecast to grow more than 7%, 2.5 times higher than inflation, which hovers between 2.7% and 2.8%, according to the Ministry of Finance.

A ministry report was released at a meeting of the Steering Committee for Price Management chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue in Hanoi on Wednesday. The report predicted the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for this year will be 2.73%. As usual, commodities that have price hike include food, catering service, beverage, transport service, and tourism.
