Asked about Trump, a long-time star of TV show “The Apprentice”, President Obama urged the US media and public to examine this Republican’s past record, adding it’s important to take seriously the statements Trump’s made in the past.
Trump has raised howls of protest even within his party with his speech and proposals ranging from banning Muslims from entering the US to building a wall bordering Mexico to keep out migrants. US Senator Ted Cruz and Ohio Governor John Kasich dropped out this week after Trump won the Indiana primary. Donald Trump is now the last remaining candidate for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination.
