(VOVworld) - The 2015 year-end Vietnam Business Forum (VBF) opened in Hanoi on Tuesday themed “Enhancing Enterprise Competitiveness for Global Integration”.

The event was important for Vietnam as it has been in the final phase of the five-year socio-economic development plan to become a modern industrialized nation by 2020.

In his opening speech, Minister of Planning and Investment Bui Quang Vinh said Vietnam’s institutional reforms and economic restructuring are taking place drastically. Therefore, there should be solutions to improve labour productivity, and speed up public administrative reforms and the fight against corruption.

High on the agenda of this forum will be business environment, trade and investment, infrastructure, human resource, governance and transparency, banking and capital market, issues relating to agriculture, education and training, automobile and mining.
