The witnesses said they saw Israeli settlers practicing Jewish rituals in the mosque, which violates agreements that do not allow Israel to practice the religion there. Israeli police guarded the mosque to limit the Muslims to go there to pray. Spokesperson for Israeli police force Luba al-Samri said around 304 foreign and non-Muslim visitors visited the mosque on Saturday, 7 Jewish people were blocked due to following the principles at the mosque.
Israeli police started enhancing security around the mosque site on Saturday when Jewish people gathered in the area with the protection of Israeli armed force. Meanwhile, Palestinian force also followed to watch the Jewish people’s behaviors.
