(VOVworld) - The 16th session of ASEAN’s Socio-Cultural Community Council (ASCC) closed in Vientiane on Wednesday.

The session took into consideration documents and statements to submit to the 28^th ASEAN Summit, to be held late this month in Vientiane. Ms. Dao Hong Lan, Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, who lead the Vietnamese delegation to the meeting, said: “The statements express the strong commitment of each ASEAN country to realizing the ASEAN Community’s master plan. Apart from approving documents, ASEAN countries were also committed to working out mechanism to monitor implementation in each country toward achieving goals”.
