At a press conference on Thursday, Ngo Duy Hieu, Deputy Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, said, “All the awardees are outstanding examples in different fields and careers. They might be a young man with a disability or a worker at a factory, but they deserve the award because of their effort.”

The program has been held annually by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and the Lao Dong (Labor) newspaper since 2004.
