(VOVworld) – The 13^th session of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Presidium opened in Hanoi on Sunday. In his opening speech, Chairman Nguyen Thien Nhan said that 2013 was when the National Assembly approved the revised Constitution and the revised Land Law.

This was an important step to fine tune political, social and economic institutions, creating the condition for the Vietnam Fatherland Front to contribute more to national development. Nhan asked Fatherland Fronts nationwide to renovate their operations to make the most of diverse means of communication and collect public opinions to develop and defend the nation. Delegates reviewed the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s performance in 2013 and discussed plans for this year.
