130 more cases of COVID-19 added Sunday noon

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam confirmed 130 more COVID-19 community transmissions Sunday noon, raising the ongoing coronavirus wave's tally in the country to 9,850.
34 of the new cases were recorded in HCM city, 53 in Bac Giang, 18 in Da Nang, 13 in Binh Duong, 9 in Bac Ninh, 1 each in Ha Tinh, Quang Nam and An Giang.

In HCM city, 28 were detected in locked down areas, 3 are related to the cluster at the Revival Ekklesia Mission in Go Vap District, and the others are being contact traced.

In Binh Duong, 5 cases are in quarantine areas, and the others are linked to current outbreaks at two local companies.

5 new cases in central Da Nang city made close contact with a confirmed patient and 13 were detected in locked down areas.

In Ha Tinh and Quang Nam, the new patients respectively, have been quarantined.

All the cases in the northern province of Bac Giang are associated with existing outbreaks at local industrial parks. 9 patients in its neighbor Bac Ninh are also linked to local outbreaks.

More than 13,000 COVID-19 infections including 64 fatal cases have been recorded in Vietnam.
