1,000 delegates join Vietnam Farmers' Union National Congress

(VOVWORLD) -The first working day of the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union ended on Monday at the National Convention Center in Hanoi, with 995 delegates attending.

The Congress of the 2023-2028 term listened to the draft Review Report of the Union’s Central Executive Committee; the proposal on amending and supplementing the Union’s Charter and the draft revised Union’s Charter; and the Decision to establish Discussion Centers and guide discussions.

Before the opening ceremony, delegates laid wreaths and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and offered incense to commemorate heroes and martyrs at Bac Son Memorial, Hanoi.
