The festival was part of the celebration of UNESCO's inscription of "Art of Xoe Thai" on the list of representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

The Khau Pha Paragliding Festival 2022 was organized by the People's Committee of Mu Cang Chai district and Vien Nam Sports and Tourism Joint Stock Company.

After the opening ceremony, many visitors admired the magnificent parachute performance of the pilots or registered to fly with the pilot. In addition to paragliding, a helicopter flight was offered for visitors to view the beautiful terraced fields in the ripe rice season.

The Festival will run until the end of October at the Khau Pha Pass area.
