Vietnam made the top 10 this year largely due to its strong financial security, work-life balance, and welcoming attitude to newcomers. Singapore has always been a popular destination for expats. In fact, it’s been ranked first for four consecutive years. This year, though, it dropped down to second place.

New Zealand came in fifth this year, a retreat from its second-place finish last year. Expats here can still enjoy a laid-back lifestyle, with plenty of free time after work to experience the huge variety of activities in the adventure capital of the world.
