National festival honors Vietnamese journalists

(VOVWORLD) - Representatives of media agencies across Vietnam are gathering in Hanoi for the 2023 National Press Festival which opened on Friday.

The three-day event is co-chaired by the Vietnam Journalists’ Association (VJA) and the Hanoi People’s Committee in co-ordination with the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education, the Ministry of Information and Communications, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Present at the festival’s opening ceremony are Vice State President Vo Thi Anh Xuan (4th from right, front row) and a host of other leaders.

The festival opens from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day until March 19.
