Vietnam National University of Science Born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City, Phong, 34, has been a freelance painter for a decade. He is a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association and the International Watercolor Society. Phong believes that the further he goes, the more life experiences he accumulates as inspiration for his art work.

Hanoi in early winter morning The painting collection embraces all the sentiments of a Southerner towards Hanoi. “The city has donned a furlough look as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. I really hope that my paintings will deliver a source of positive energy to everyone. We all are looking forward to the day that the virus goes down in history and the city is as vibrant as it used to be. Together, we will beat out COVID-19”, said Phong. The painter plans to open an exhibition inspired by Hanoi right in Hanoi when the pandemic ends.
