Ho Tram beach was voted by CNNGo as one of the cleanest and most beautiful beaches on the planet. With a 30-kilometer coastline, white sand, and clear waters, it stands out as a “resort tourism capital” in southern Vietnam.

Ho Tram enjoys abundant sunshine year-round and a mild tropical climate with stable temperatures ranging from 25 to 30°C. Adjacent to the 11,000-hectare Binh Chau-Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve, often referred to as a “giant green lung”, Ho Tram is recognized as one of the places with the best air quality in Vietnam. The Binh Chau-Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve, with its multi-layered forest canopy, offers a tranquil natural setting, great for hiking or leisurely strolls in the fresh, clean air.

Ho Tram’s long stretch of white sand beaches that have preserved their natural beauty and tranquility invite visitors to unwind in the clear waters and peaceful surroundings. This place is a good choice for visitors whether it is a vibrant summer vacation or an impromptu weekend trip.

One tourist said: “This is my first time here, but everything feels familiar and comforting. The landscapes are stunning. The blue sea, clear sky, and gentle breeze make me want to return again.”

A prime location and beautiful natural scenery are the factors that have persuaded multiple investors to build high-end resorts in the Ho Tram area. According to businessman Tran Quang Hy, “The biggest advantage Ho Tram beach offers tourists is its proximity to downtown Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Tram was voted one of the most beautiful beaches on the planet. That was one of the reasons for our investment. Ho Tram is still emerging as a tourism destination, and entertainment services are not yet very diverse. We can build beachfront venues with stunning views.”

In mid-May, The Grand Ho Tram broke ground on a new 35-hectare subdivision, marking a strategic milestone in developing a world-class tourism complex in Vietnam.

Stuart Haine, Southeast Asia Managing Director of the Warburg Pincus Fund, the project’s investor, said: “Over 1.4 billion USD already invested and this new 1 billion USD investment,  this new phase alone, will host over 6,000 rooms, welcome 18,000 guests. Once completed, the Grand Hotel will be a world-class integrated resort, one of the largest in its time.

Huynh Phi Khanh, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Tram commune, said that in the first half of this year, Ho Tram welcomed 3 million visitors, including 915,000 international arrivals. Estimated revenue totaled 127 million USD. Mr. Khanh said transportation infrastructure will be the key to tourism growth. Once the Long Thanh International Airport and the Ho Tram-Long Thanh airport expressway become operational, they will create an opportunity for the southern coastal region to welcome a big flow of tourists, especially international travelers.

Blessed with natural advantages, rapidly developing infrastructure, and a range of new high-quality tourism offerings, Ho Tram is poised to become a premier tourism hub catering to leisure, exploration, business, and cultural events. The area’s merger into Ho Chi Minh City is generating fresh momentum for economic growth.
