(VOVWORLD) - Implementing the Government's direction on price stabilization from now until the end of the year, especially during the New Year holiday when consumer demand increases sharply, supermarkets have prepared a number of promotional programs to attract customers. Distributors are trying to ensure a stable supply to avoid disruptions and price fluctuations. Pham Thi Thuy Linh, Director of External Relations and Investment for the Central Retail Group, said distributors are planning to lower prices and offer attractive promotions to consumers.

“Retailers and suppliers are working to ensure a good supply, good quality, and the lowest available prices. Our supermarkets are offering monthly and weekly promotional programs and special special promotions to stimulate demand.”

Many provinces and cities are ready to organize year-end promotions. This year the promotions will last longer and priority will be given to Vietnamese goods. Tran Thi Lan Phuong, acting Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, said promotion programs will last longer and focus on a monthly theme. For example, the "Hanoi Midnight Sale 2023" on Black Friday, November 24, will attract businesses, shopping centers, supermarkets, and manufacturers.

“Businesses are offering promotional products and attractive programs to lure customers to their distribution system. Businesses can sell a lot of goods, which will enable them to offer more promotional and incentive programs,” said Lan.

The domestic market is a bright spot in the national economy amid global economic fluctuations. In the first 9 months of this year retail sales of goods and services grew 10%, thanks to efforts by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, localities, and businesses to implement promotions and stimulate consumer demand.
