Ho Chi Minh city has put into operation a specialized field hospital with 300 beds and advanced equipment for treating nCov patients. Health workers from different hospitals in the city will take turns working at the facility, which is at the Ho Chi Minh City Military School in Cu Chi district. The hospital will receive people who need to be quarantined and anyone who has had a fever or cough.

Vinh Phuc province, which has the highest number of nCoV patients, is building a field hospital with 200 beds. The province has already set up quarantine areas for people who have had close contact with nCoV patients. Doan Duc Toan, Deputy Director of Binh Xuyen district’s medical center, said: "The medical center has a backup plan in case the number of nCoV patients increase. They will be treated in a separate area with 60 beds. Central hospitals are helping us install equipment and sending doctors to take turns working at the facility.”

Đoàn Thanh Bình, Head of the Office of the Vinh Phuc provincial Health Department, said: “The hotline at the Vinh Phuc provincial Health Department has been receiving 10 to 30 calls a day.  We update information on suspected cases for quarantine.”

The Ministry of Health has asked hospitals and laboratories to study and produce bio-products, nCoV vaccines, and testing tools. Factories have increased production of antiviral face masks.
