This is the second year Moc Chau has hosted Culture and Tourism Week at the provincial level to introduce its potential and advantages. Le Trong Binh, Chairman of the Moc Chau district People's Committee, said the event aims to promote Moc Chau’s tourism brand, attract investment in tourism services, and turn Moc Chau into a leading tourism venue in the northwestern region.

“An art show called "Passionate dating night" will be held on September 1st. A trade fair will connect businesses and market local agricultural products. Street events will be held to highlight the province’s ethnic cultures. We’ll hold a competition on showcasing national intangible cultural heritages, a special show celebrating National Independence Day on September 2, and a cultural space of the Mong ethnic group. This is an opportunity to attract investors to Moc Chau,” said Binh.

Visitors are encouraged to engage in cultural activities with local ethnic people, such as the "pulling a wife" custom of the Mong and the wedding customs of the White Thai, play folk games, such as walking on stilts and dancing with bamboo poles, and visit a mountain fair introducing local products.

The highlight of the Moc Chau Culture and Tourism Week will be the “Flute to call friends” Festival from Sunday to Tuesday at Moc Chau Island tourism, entertainment, and resort complex. Visitors to the festival should also explore the Bach Long glass bridge, certified as the world's longest glass bridge by Guinness World Records.

Famous singers Tuan Hung, Kieu Dung, and Luu Hai Anh will perform at the festival. A gala night at Moc Chau Island will end with a brilliant fireworks display.
