Thousands of people gathered at the Ha Long International Cruise Port to watch the 15-minute fireworks display last weekend. Bursts of fireworks accompanied by recorded music created a rousing experience.

“I enjoyed watching the fireworks up close. It was exciting and romantic to share this moment with my loved ones,” said a tourist.

“I came with my family and friends to see the fireworks. I live in Quang Ninh and bought tickets for the show. The fireworks were beautiful,” said a local resident.

The fireworks show will take place from 9:30–9:45 p.m. every Friday and Saturday night through January 1, 2026 and on major provincial holidays at the Ha Long International Passenger Port, Sun Carnival Square, in Bai Chay ward, and at 30/10 Square in Ha Long ward.

Nguyen Lam Nguyen, Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, said: “Quang Ninh province has diversified nighttime tourism products such as night cruises, seaside cuisine, art performances in Ngoc Rong cave, and now weekend fireworks. These products enhance visitors’ nighttime experience and boost Quang Ninh’s tourism.”

The “Bay of Fireworks” program is a cooperative project by Quang Ninh province and private businesses to stimulate tourism. The province aims to welcome 20 million visitors this year, including 4.5 million foreign tourists.
