Art performance marks 50th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament

(VOVWORLD) - The Voice of Vietnam, Nghe An province, and Ho Chi Minh city organize a special art program entitled “Boundless Love” on Wednesday night to mark the 50th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament. The audience will be told emotional stories about simple but great life and career of the beloved leader.

The program will be broadcast live from Voice of Vietnam’s Theatre in Hanoi, the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site in Nghe An province’s Nam Dan district, and Nha Rong Wharf, a special relic site in Ho Chi Minh City. Under the auspices of VOV President, Associate Professor, Doctor Nguyen The Ky, the program is scripted by journalist Tran Dang Tuan, and directed by Emeritus Artist Le Thuy. More than 200 artists will perform in the special program. VOV President Nguyen The Ky said: “Boundless love” is quoted from President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament. He passed away but his love for the Party, the people, soldiers, and international friends, will last forever. It’s our duty to honor and follow his Testament."

The art program recalls warm memories and stories about President and his immense love for his country, citizens, and people worldwide, while featuring various musical and singing performances in praise of President Ho Chi Minh, the Party, the country Vietnam and its people. The show’s highlight is fabulous choirs sung by famous artists at different venues. Mr. Ky said: "This is a political-artistic program to highlight President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyles reflected in his Testament. Songs and plays selected for the show are emotional and aimed at encouraging Vietnamese people to move forward for national construction and development today and in the future."

The program will be broadcast live on VTC1, VTC3, VTV10, VOV television channel Vietnam Journey, Ho Chi Minh City Television, Nghe An Television, and other radio channels of VOV, including VOV1, VOV2, VOV3, VOV4. It will also be livestreamed on VOV.VN. VTC News, and vovworld.vn, as well as VOV Media app.
