Speaking in the launching ceremony on Saturday, VOV President Nguyen The Ky, expected the service to bring more updated information to local people. He instructed VOV engineers to shorten the installation time of more transmission stations in Phu Quoc: “The digital TV service will cover the whole tourism district island and neighboring area, enabling local people to access free TV channels of high quality. This is of great political significance to narrow the communications gap in remote and island areas and disseminate Party and State propaganda.”
