During a visit to the Embassy of Vietnam in Venezuela in Caracas, Dr. Wimmer praised the serious, responsible and transparent preparations for the election saying it reflected Vietnam’s great national unity and the solid foundation of its political system. He expressed confidence that the upcoming election would usher in a dynamic and effective new term of the National Assembly, building on past achievements and helping Vietnam continue its steady path of development and international integration.

The embassy and the Venezuela-Vietnam Friendship Association also agreed to promote youth and student exchanges as well as educational activities on Vietnamese history and culture, helping strengthen connections between younger generations and build a sustainable foundation for Vietnam-Venezuela friendship in the future.
