The JCS detected the launches at around 1:20 p.m. local time. This marks Pyongyang’s third ballistic missile launch since the beginning of the year.
The South Korea military said it is maintaining a high level of combat readiness while closely sharing information on North Korea’s ballistic missiles with the United States and Japan, strengthening coordinated monitoring in case of further launches.
Meanwhile, Japan’s Ministry of Defense (Japan) confirmed that the North Korean missiles fell outside the country’s exclusive economic zone. No damage has been reported so far.
