A national conference on the role of the legendary "Long-haired Army" will be held on Thursday in Ben Tre province in a direct and online format at the Women's Unions of 63 provinces and cities as well as in the districts and towns in Ben Tre and Hanoi.
Consisting entirely of females, the long-haired army was formed in the Dong Khoi (General Uprising), while the "Three Responsibilities" movement is an event associated with the traditions of Vietnamese women during the resistance war against the US.
On March 8, a meeting will be held between the Prime Minister and female generals, heroes of the People's Armed Forces, heroes of labor, and scientists. In addition, a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Kovalevskaia Award will be held.
The talks with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will involve 280 delegates.
