Vietnam and Mongolia strengthen judicial cooperation

(VOVWORLD) -President Luong Cuong on Wednesday received Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Mongolia Ganzorig Damdin, who is on a working visit to Vietnam this week.

President Cuong applauded the results of the talks between the Chief Justices of the Supreme People's Courts of the two countries held on Wednesday morning, in which both sides agreed on continued implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding, as well as future cooperation plans.

He supported the judicial branches of the two countries in strengthening cooperation, ensuring substantive and effective results, contributing to the development of cooperative relations between the two countries.

The President also acknowledged the efforts of the Supreme Courts of both countries in promoting judicial cooperation, including the effective implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on judicial cooperation signed in June 2025, including training of officials, sharing of trial experience, mutual legal assistance, and support for building a modern judicial system.

The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Mongolia expressed confidence that the comprehensive partnership between the two countries will continue to develop strongly, with judicial cooperation becoming one of its important pillars.
