Pfizer to seek approval for COVID-19 vaccine use in under-16 kids in Canada

(VOVWORLD) - US pharmaceutical giant Pfizer is planning to submit necessary documents in a few weeks to seek approval for its COVID-19 vaccine to be given to children 12-15 in Canada, company spokesperson Christina Antoniou has confirmed.

No vaccine has yet been approved for children under 16 in Canada.

Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine was the first vaccine approved in Canada, which has confirmed more than 1 million infections and 23,000 deaths.
