Listener Dinh Lu, a Chinese national, shared that he has been a devoted listener of VOV for nearly a decade. In his entry, he expressed a profound fondness for several programs, including News, Letter Box, Weekend Music, and Colors of 54 Vietnamese Ethnic Groups. Dinh Lo also recounted cherished memories with the station—from submitting reports and hearing his name on air, to receiving QSL cards and souvenirs. These moments, he said, have strengthened his enduring bond with the Voice of Vietnam.
From Cambodia, listener Uch Leang wrote: “I had the opportunity to study in Vietnam in 1995, and ever since, the Voice of Vietnam has become a vital part of my spiritual life. Programs like Learning Vietnamese, Ethnic Music, Reading Stories at Night, and international news in Vietnamese helped me not only learn the language, but also gain a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s people, culture, and soul. I particularly love Vietnam and the World—a program that connects Vietnam with the global community in such a vibrant and humane way. To me, VOV is more than a news station; it is a bridge that links my heart to Vietnam.”
Meanwhile, listener A. K. M. Nuruzzaman from Bangladesh shared: “I am impressed by the Vietnamese people for their resilience, warmth, and strong community spirit. Vietnamese culture beautifully balances tradition and modernity, seen in the Ao Dai, traditional music, and a family-oriented lifestyle. Vietnamese cuisine, with its harmonious flavors and regional diversity, is another remarkable highlight. To me, Vietnam leaves a lasting impression—a country full of inspiration, rich in identity, and always welcoming with a warm heart.”
