They learned the basics of the Fisheries Law and legal documents on IUU prevention and control, violations, and punishments.

Owners of fishing boats signed documents committing to not violating foreign waters for illegal fishing, actively coordinating with functional forces to maintain lawful economic activities at sea; and participating in protecting sovereignty, security, order, and safety in the southwestern seas and islands.

The Command of the Coast Guard Region 4 also gave 20 gifts, each worth 40 USD, to poor fishermen, and delivered national flags and leaflets on legal issues to fishing boats at Tac Cau fishing port.
