The first mobile medical station is located at a clinic in Hoi Nghia ward, Tan Uyen town. It is responsible for monitoring and managing enterprises for suspected cases of Covid-19; conducting the risk assessment of infection; implementing anti-pandemic plans when there are infections; and organizing testing.
Dong Thanh Kich, Director of the Phuc Tam Phuc Clinic and Head of the station, said: “We will improve the mobile medical station’s interaction on enterprise risk assessment, so that the production teams could maintain their production even when a F0 is detected. Workers will receive medical check-up frequently at the medical station instead of going to other medical facilities.”

The 2nd mobile medical station is at Phu Chanh industrial compound, and the 3rd one is located at HEPA Phuoc An Clinic. Each station has 10 to 13 health workers and volunteers. From now until the end of October, Tan Uyen town is scheduled to set up eight more mobile stations. Nguyen Hung, an investor at Phu Chanh industrial compound, said the mobile medical station model is helpful for local enterprises. “We think this model should be expanded. The mobilize health station is appropriately arranged at enterprises, ensuring that workers can access healthcare in the fastest way,” Hung said.
Binh Duong has 29 industrial zones and clusters with a total workforce of over 1.2 million workers, whose rental houses are interlaced with factories. Binh Duong authorities have directed that in an industrial zone, each company with 500 employees must have medical personnel, while company with 1,000 employees must have a medical station.
Nguyen Van Loi, Secretary of Binh Duong Province's Party Committee, said anti-pandemic approach has been adjusted and the mobile medical station is part of this effort: “An F0 who has received two Covid jabs will stay home, self-monitor, and report their health status to the health agencies. Instead of blocking the whole factory, we identify infected cases and suspected cases, disinfect surrounding areas, and then resume production after one or two days. The medical station pushes the work.”
Binh Duong province’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control plans to set up 142 mobile medical stations in industrial clusters and residential areas to make health care more accessible to people when more business and social activities are allowed to resume.
