Addressing a ceremony to welcome the winners back, Mr. Quy said “we hope that those who got the medals today will continue to do their utmost to bring more glory to the country in the fields you pursue. The Prime Minister has recently approved a project on the training of talented students and those like you will be sent abroad for further study to serve the nation in the future.

This year’s International Physics Olympiad took place from July 5 to 15 in Denmark attracting the participation of 83 countries and territories from around the world. The Vietnamese delegation included five students and all of them got medals - two golds, one silver, and two bronzes.
