Vo Van Thuong, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education, said in an article in Nhan Dan newspaper, that Lenin gave humanity a massive, precious treasure of thoughts and theories, an ideal moral example of true communists, who devoted their lives for national liberation, liberation of class, and liberation of people from oppression and enslavement.

The theories of Lenin and Marxism-Leninism in general have inspired and guided the Vietnamese people to achieve great victories in the people's national democratic revolution, the socialist revolution, and national construction and defense.

The People’s Army Newspaper ran an article praising Lenin’s New Economic Policy of renewal, modernization, industrialization, and international integration for enlightening the Communist Party and people of Vietnam about transitional period to socialism with a focus on national development policy.

The Communist Party of Vietnam has developed and expanded that policy, which is now guiding Vietnam toward a modern market economy and international integration that will realize the goal of "wealthy people, strong country, prosperity, democracy, fairness, and civilization”. Vietnam’s achievements in this pursuit have already been recognized and appreciated by the international community, the paper said.
