The ASEAN Tourism Awards is an annual event to honor localities and agencies with high-quality tourism products and services, contributing to the sustainable development of tourism destinations in the region. The award is an opportunity for tourism businesses and local tourism organizations to effectively market their business activities and promote the national tourism brand.

At this year's awards ceremony, Vietnam won 25 awards in 6 categories including ASEAN Green Hotel Award, ASEAN Clean Tourism City Award, ASEAN MICE Awards for Meeting Rooms, ASEAN MICE Award for Exhibition Venue, ASEAN MICE Awards for Event Venues, ASEAN Sustainable Tourism Awards, and Gastronomy Tourism theme.

ATF 2024 is held from January 22-27 in Vientiane, with the theme "Quality and responsible tourism – Sustaining ASEAN future".

Hue, Vung Tau, and Quy Nhon were awarded the ASEAN Clean Tourist City Awards 2024, recognized for their commitment to cleanliness, managing waste, and promoting environmental awareness.
