(VOVworld) -  Vietnam triumphed at the fifth edition of the Asian Beach Games (ABG5) held in Da Nang City after 10 competition days, bagging 52 gold, 44 silver, and 43 bronze medals in 14 sports.

Thailand came in second in terms of the medal tally with 36 golds and China was third with 12 golds.

On the last competition day on Sunday, Vietnam won a gold medal after beating the Republic of Korea 3-0 in the men’s sepak takraw final.

The ABG5 attracted 35 countries and territories to participate. The closing ceremony was organized on Monday.
