(VOVworld)- A consultation workshop on increasing social organizations’ participation in HIV/AIDS prevention and control in Vietnam opened in Hanoi on Saturday. The event is part of a project of the Global Fund for HIV/AIDS prevention and control that aims to get civil social organizations involved in providing HIV/AIDS prevention services and treatment in 10 provinces.  Do Thi Van, the project’s Director says: “In the near future, in addition to the state support, we really hope that social organizations will participate in HIV/AIDS prevention and control. We want to help improve the capacity of these organizations so that their participation in HIV/AIDS prevention and control can be more effective”.
