This result further affirmed the campaign’s widespread effectiveness in Vietnam, showing that it is not just symbolic but has gradually translated awareness into concrete community action.

Over the years, it has helped foster energy conservation and efficiency, while raising public awareness of environmental protection and climate change adaptation.

Since it was initiated in 2007, Earth Hour has become an annual global event, drawing participation from around 200 countries and territories.

This year was 18th year that Vietnam has joined the campaign.
